Clean Role Tree (RSCR_ROLES_REORG)
Crystal Reports (as with Excel workbooks) are managed in the BW roles. It therefore makes sense to check whether
· all reports are accessible via role entries
· all role entries refer to Crystal Reports that actually exist.
The system uses the SAP report RSCR_ROLES_REORG to check whether the role entries agree with the available Crystal Reports.
If the system finds inconsistencies, you can allow it to make the necessary deletions.
You can use the report RSCR_SYNCHRONIZE_ROLES to synchronize the directory structure in the BW system and in Crystal Enterprise.
You can find additional information in Update Role Structure (RSCR_SYNCHRONIZE_ROLES).
The function of this report is to clean the role tree in BW relating to Crystal Reports. This involves:
inconsistent Crystal Reports not used in any role.
inconsistent role entries referring to Crystal reports that are do not exist in the system.
