Credit Management 
You can use Credit Management to minimize financial risks for your organization. Credit Management makes it possible for you to carry out credit checks in transaction processing, and it forwards documents that are blocked for credit reasons directly to the person responsible to be checked.
You can execute the following checks:
· Credit Rating Check
The credit rating check checks the solvency of the customer to pay using ratings in the business partner master data. With this check, you can establish as soon as you enter a business partner whether you are permitted to create a sales transaction for this business partner in respect of his or her solvency.

· Credit Limit Check
The credit limit check carries out a check against the credit limit and the outstanding claims in SAP R/3 or another financial accounting system. This check is dependent on the value of the transaction.

To run the credit limit check, you must have a financial accounting system, for example SAP ERP Financials. You can find further information under Integration of CRM Credit Limit Check with SAP R/3.

Credit checks, changes or cancellations of documents created in SAP CRM should be made only in SAP CRM, not in the OLTP system. This constraint exists because changes in the OLTP system are not replicated in SAP CRM. Therefore the status of the CRM documents would not match the status of the changed OLTP documents. However, subsequent documents, such as deliveries and invoices can be made in the OLTP system.
