Checking Installation Settings (RSCR_CHECK_INSTALLATION_PARAMS)  

Use

If changes have been made to the system landscape after installing Crystal Enterprise, we recommend you check the Crystal Enterprise integration settings made during installation, and make necessary changes.

Do this with the SAP report RSCR_CHECK_INSTALLATION_PARAMS.

Integration

You can also use the SAP report RSCR_ADMIN_REPORTS when making changes to the system landscape.

Features

The following settings made during installation are checked with the SAP report RSCR_CHECK_INSTALLATION_PARAMS:

·        Settings for report execution

·        Publishing settings

·        The required RFC destination CRYSTAL_PUBLISHER

Call up the ABAP Editor (transaction SE38).

Enter the program name in the Program field: RSCR_CHECK_INSTALLATION_PARAMS.  

Choose  Execute. The Check Crystal Enterprise Installation Parameters screen appears.

The report output displays the following in the columns:

Check type

URL Parameter Check

Publish Settings Check

RFC Connection Test

ReturnCode: return value for check

0 for “OK”

All other return values display errors. These are explained in the system messages (see: Message).

If you want to make changes, highlight the row with the entry you want to change and then choose  Maintain. You get to the maintenance for the chosen objects.
