Interpretation of the Results Rows
In the results rows for a query, the basic results are displayed, not necessarily the totals.
For example, results rows might not include totals in the following cases:
● Conditions are active
See Conditions
● Exception aggregations (such as with the first value, minimum, or average) are used
See
Tab Page:
Aggregation (in InfoObject maintenance) or Selection/Formula
Properties (in the BEx Query Designer)
● Calculations are made
See Defining Formulas and Defining Calculated Key Figures
If you want to keep the totals in the results row, use the function Calculate Result As... ® Summation (or you could also use other aggregation forms).

Note that these local calculations only change the display of the values. With subsequent calculations, the system does not use this for the display of the changed value, but rather the original value specified by the OLAP processor.
The functions Cumulation and Normalization act similarly with key figures. The original value specified by the OLAP processor is totaled up and cumulated or is displayed as normalized. With subsequent calculations, the system does not use this cumulated or normalized value displayed, but rather the original value.
You can set up the functions Cumulation and Normalization in the Query Designer (Selection/Formula Properties), during analysis in the Web (Properties of the Structure Element or Data Cell) and in the BEx Analyzer (Key Figure Properties).
It is not possible to use the values changed for the display in other calculations.
If you use two structures in the query you can execute calculations for individual cells in these two structures. See Defining Exception Cells (in the Query Designer).
