Procedure documentation Making All Personal Catalogs Visible in the Input Help Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

When a customer superuser defines a view of a catalog for the first time, the system generates a copy of this catalog for each product catalog that has been released. This personal catalog does not appear in the input help of transactions such as catalog processing, replication and XML export for example.

As the Web shop manager you can create and process a personal catalog in the CRM system for trouble shooting purposes after replication has taken place.

Note

If the number (ID) of the personal catalog is already know, it can be entered directly in the corresponding transaction. The number of the personal catalog is made up of the business partner number of the sold-to party, a hyphen and the number of the original catalog.

Procedure

Make the following settings to make a personal catalog visible in the input help of the product catalog number:

...

       1.      In the menu, choose: System ® User profile ® Own data.

       2.      Choose Parameters.

       3.      In Parameters, enter COM_PCAT_CSTMRCOPY.

       4.      In Value, enter a value, this field must be filled in.

The personal catalogs disappear from the input help if you remove the parameter or delete the value.

       5.      Save your entries.

Caution

Do not try to replicate such a personal catalog in the usual way or to send it as an XML document. For further information, see Restarting Replication.

Result

You have made personal catalogs visible in the input help. You can also reverse this action by deleting the parameter.
