Definition
The application window is the view you get on your computer screen when the application is open.
Structure
When you log on to SAP Enterprise Portal, you first arrive at the portal application window, which serves as a starting point for performing your daily tasks and includes various functions that you can personalize to suit your own needs, such as your calendar, news items, and alerts.
From this starting point, you can also navigate to the functions you want to use in the People‑Centric UI, where the application window is built up in a slightly different way.
