Purpose

You can use the Postprocessing Office for as many software components as required. The software components can be in the same logical system or in different logical systems.

Process flow

Connecting software components

Connect all software components involved to the Postprocessing Office (see Connection of a Software Component).

Define redirection of object types

To process postprocessing orders from a certain software component only, but to display data from another software component for selected object types of this software component, process the IMG activity Define Redirection to Another Software Component in the Customizing of the Postprocessing Office.

Setting up worklists

       1.      In the Customizing for the Postprocessing Office choose Worklist ® Define Worklists specify worklists for the required software components.

Assign the worklists with organizational units and/or users (see Change Worklist Assignment)

Result

You can display and process postprocessing orders and objects across software components.
