Procedure documentation Performing a Search Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can find information quickly and effectively in the mobile client application by using the search function. When you perform a search, the system retrieves business data matching the criteria you set.

Procedure

       1.      In the navigation bar, choose Business Partners   ®  Search.
The Business Partners/Search tile set appears.

Note

Make sure the Business Partner Search tile is active, as shown by the orange indicator at the top of the tile.

       2.      In the Business Partner Search tile, you enter the criteria you want to base your search on. For example, by making a selection in the dropdown box for the field Country, you can focus your search to return only those business partners who are from a specific country.

       3.      Choose Search.
Business partners matching your search criteria appear on the Business Partners tile. If no business partners match the criteria you set, then the Business Partners tile appears empty.

Note

The busy indicator appears in the upper-right corner of the application window if the system is still processing the search results. For more information about the busy indicator, see Busy Indicator.

       4.      Use the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the screen to view the details of the business partners in the list.

Note

If a data set, such as a search results list, contains more entries than the application can display on the screen at one time, then a vertical scrollbar appears on the tile. By scrolling down, you display more entries until you are at the end of the data set.

Result

You are now able to perform a search of business data and view the search results.

With the search results list still displayed, you are ready for Sorting Business Data in a List.
