Object documentationProduct Location

A product location represents a particular product managed at a particular location.

The product location master data is used to support planning, logistics, modeling, forecasting, and reporting. For example, the product location master data contains the sales price and the moving average price (MAP), both of which can be used in the offer financial calculations.

This master data is also used to determine the regular sales price for a product at a specific location in a given time frame.

You can perform the following:

  • Find product locations by using the search feature.

  • Display the price related to a product location.

  • Change details of a product location based on customized settings.

Structure

The product location master data contains information required to represent a product location, such as the product identifier, location identifier, location type code, and function code.

The system keeps a complete list of prices, such as the regular product price changes, and merges each change into the price record.

Integration

Demand Data Foundation (DDF) receives this master data from an external SAP or non-SAP application. For more information, see Integration Information.
