Sales 
The sales time series contains the following historical demand data:
Regular sales data for a specific product location for a specific time period
Promotional sales data for a specific product location for a specific time period and for a specific promotional offer
Note
Sales data represents aggregated translation log (TLOG) data, also referred to as point-of-sale (POS) data.
Demand Data Foundation (DDF) can use the sales time series as a demand data source for demand modeling.
Structure
The sales time series contains information required to represent historical sales, such as product, location, unit sales, sales amount, offer ID (for promotional sales data), currency, granularity (weekly or daily), start date, and end date.
Integration
DDF can receive the sales time series from an external SAP or non-SAP application. For more information, see Integration Information.
