Simulate Account Settlement in Closed Period (Indiv. Processing) You can use the report
RBCA_ACBAL_SIMPAST_SINGLE
to simulate an
account settlement
for any key date that is in a period that has already been closed.
Simulation in a settled period includes all postings up to the current payment transaction date. The
Include Postings To
field is defaulted with the payment transaction date . The system calculates the settlement results that would have been calculated in an account settlement on this date.

You can also use the Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI)
AccountSettlementAM.StartSingle
to simulate an account settlement for any key date that is in a period that has already been closed.
A simulation for a past key date may be necessary for the following reasons:
Date of death of account holder is in the past: Statement of assets in inheritance (tax) matters
Retrospective changes to law: Statement of all interest from the past
Retrospective simulation of account closure
