 Entering Account Closures

Use

This function is a method of business object Account Closure . The system carries out all the important steps that are required in order to enter an account closure.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites described in the Account Closure section must be met and the settings listed must have been made.

From the SAP Easy Access screen you have chosen Start of the navigation path Account Management Next navigation step Account Next navigation step AccountMaster Data Next navigation step Close Accountin eitherCreateorChangemode. End of the navigation path

Activities

  1. Check the details on the Account Closure tab page.

    For more information, see the Editing Closures section.

  2. Choose Save.

  3. The system carries out the following steps:

    • Checks whether the account closure data transferred is valid

    • Saves the account closure on the database

    • Saves the change documents for the account closure on the database.

    • Processes the relevant Business Transaction Events
