Scenario: Key Date-Based Cash Pooling with Minimum and Maximum Amounts (Credit Clearing)
In this scenario, you can specify the minimum or maximum amounts for credit clearing in the settings of the subaccounts. The system then only posts amounts that are on or between the minimum and maximum amount.
Example
In the settings for a subaccount, you have specified a minimum of EUR 500.00 and a maximum of EUR 2,000.00. This means that the system does not execute a posting if the account balance is less than EUR 500.00. If the account balance of the subaccount is EUR 400.00 CR, there is also no credit clearing. If, however, the account balance is EUR 4,000.00 CR, the system posts only the maximum amount of EUR 2,000.00, debiting the amount from the subaccount and transferring it to the main account.
To represent this scenario in the system, you need to define the following rules in the settings for each account:
Main Account
No rule
Subaccounts
SAP0011000 (Surplus Clearing)
SAP0012000 (Deficit Clearing)
SAP0042000 (Minimum Amount for Surplus Clearing)
SAP0043000 (Maximum Amount for Surplus Clearing)
Note
You cannot combine rules SAP0042000 or SAP0043000 with rule SAP0051000 (Constant Balance on Subaccount). However, you can combine these with rule SAP0021000 (Percentage for Clearing Amount). The system checks whether the amount to be compensated is less than the specified minimum after calculating the percentage value . If this is the case, there is no clearing.
