You edit the master data of time deposits on the Time Deposit tab page.

Procedure

Creating / Editing New Time Deposit Agreements

Note Note

You can create a new time deposit agreement if this is the first agreement for a time deposit account or if there has been a total repayment of a previous agreement.

  1. In the group box Time Deposit Agreement, choose the pushbuttonCreate.

  2. In the group box Basic Data, enter the details about the term of the time deposit agreement.

  3. In the group box Amount Data, enter the contract amount of the time deposit agreement.

    In the case of new agreements, the value for the determination type of the contract amount is always Fixed Contract Amount. The Delta Amount field is not relevant for new time deposit agreements.

  4. In the group box Interest Usage, specify what is to happen with the interest that incurs during the term or at the end of the term of the time deposit agreement.

    The default value in both fields is Capitalize.

  5. In the group box Actions at End of Term, specify whether the amounts are to be fully repaid to the customer at the end of the term.

    The default value in the field is None.

  6. If you wish to commit to the interest conditions valid on the day of creation for a certain period, in the group box Interest Commitment, specify the period and the reason for the interest commitment.

  7. Choose Save.

Editing Follow-On Agreements

Note Note

A follow-on agreement results as an extension of an existing time deposit agreement in the following cases:

  • The system has created a time deposit agreement through automatic renewal.

  • You have scheduled a time deposit agreement manually.

  1. In the group box Time Deposit Agreement, choose the current time deposit agreement and choose the Detail pushbutton.

  2. Specify the required changes.

    Note Note

    If you have defined a time deposit grace period in the Product Configurator, during this time, the following changes are possible without restriction:

    • Repayments

    • Changes to the term

    • Decision about how to handle the newly incurred interest

  3. Choose Save.
