Procedure documentationEditing Extended Account Settlements

On the Extended Settlement tab page in the the Time Periods group box, define the time at which and the frequency (time periods) with which you want an extended account settlement carried out for every settlement track of an account. Extended account settlements are generally carried out in the context of end-of-day processing.

Procedure

  1. In the General Data group box, define whether you want the the system to calculate capital yield tax for the settlement results of the base track.

  2. Select the settlement tracks one after the other, and define their settlement behavior.

  3. Select the settlement tracks one after the other and in the Time Periods group box, define the frequency (time periods) with which you want the account settlement carried out for this settlement track. Note that the frequency is based on the starting date you specify. The date of the next account settlement must be in the future.

  4. If you want the system to post the settlement results to reference accounts rather than to the settled account, you must specify reference accounts on the Payment Details tab page for every condition type for which settlement results are calculated.

    Note Note

To specify payment details for the posting of settlement results to reference accounts, you must have defined payment details types and assigned posting types to them. You do this in Customizing for Account Management under Start of the navigation path Product Management Next navigation step Settlement Next navigation step Maintain Payment Details Types for Settlement Postings End of the navigation path.

    End of the note.

Result

The system executes the extended account settlements on the dates you chose and posts the settlement results determined in accordance with the settings made on the Payment Details tab page.
