Edit Pro Rata Amount Group Box
In the Pro Rata Amount
group box on the Calculation
tab page, you edit the fields for a condition that belong to amount category 115060 Pro Rata Amount
.
You use a charge calculation method defined in Customizing for your application to define if and how the system makes a pro rata calculation for this charge. You use the clearing type to define for each charge calculation method whether the charge is to be levied in full, pro rata, or not at all for a subperiod. You define the charge calculation method for the condition on the Condition Determination
tab page.
You can define the pro rata amount as a simple charge or a multiple charges depending on the amount limits in tiers for condition determination. In tiers for condition determination, the system determines the reference value of the tiers based on the data on the Condition Determination
tab page, for example, the period of use, the determination period, and the turnover class.
Depending on the settings you make, different screens are available in certain fields when you edit a pro rata amount.

Procedure
You can make the following settings:
Edit Basic Data for the Calculation of Charges
In the
Condition Form
field, you can enter the use for the condition.Use the
Rounding Category
andRounding Unit
fields to control how the system rounds the resulting amounts for the pro rata amount.If you have entered a minimum amount or a maximum amount, the system includes these and then rounds the resulting amount. For more information, see Rounding Numerical Values.
You can enter a payment currency that differs from the condition currency.
When you enter a payment currency, you can enter a fixed exchange rate that is used for the validity period of the condition.

Based on the Customizing settings in the condition type under the amount category screen area in the
Perc. Chrge
field, the system either displays theAmount
orPercentage
field. Enter the amount or percentage that you want to charge.
