Creating Valuation Runs
Before you can start evaluations in batch processing, you have to create a valuation run.
Make sure that the valuation run type you require is available. You create valuation run types in Customizing for Strategy Analyzer in the IMG activity Edit Valuation Run Type under Bank Analyzer ® Strategy Analyzer ® Processes.

Note that in Customizing for the valuation environment you can define which analyses the system carries out as part of gap analysis. You enter these settings in Customizing for Bank Analyzer under Analytics ® Strategy Analyzer ® Valuation ® Create Valuation Environment and Assign Market Data Set to Derivation Strategy.
...
1. On the SAP Easy Access screen choose Bank Analyzer ® Analytics ® Strategy Analyzer ® Run Administration ® Create and Schedule ® Create Valuation Run.
The system displays a selection screen.
2. Select a valuation run type.
A valuation run type contains all the relevant information about a valuation run, in particular whether a NPV analysis or a gap analysis should be carried out.
3. Enter an evaluation date (business key date).
4. Enter the horizon.

You can save your settings as a variant, and use them again later. To save the
settings, choose
with the quick info Save as Variant.
To reuse the variant you saved, choose
with
the quick info Get
Variant.
5.
Choose
with the quick info Execute.
The system creates a version for the required valuation run. The system always forms the name of the valuation run from the name of the valuation run type that you selected. To distinguish between valuation runs that belong to the same valuation run type and the same key date, the system also assigns a version number (1,2, and so on).
Depending on the key figure family of the valuation run, you need to carry out the following steps for the Strategy Analyzer evaluations:
● Gap analysis
First, you create an aggregation run and then you use the Schedule Manager to schedule the valuation and aggregation runs.
● Net present value (NPV) analysis
You use the Schedule Manager to schedule the valuation run; you do not need to schedule an aggregation run.
