Creating Aggregation Runs 

Use

Before you start the gap analyses in batch processing, you create a valuation run and an aggregation run.

 

Prerequisites

You have created at least one valuation run. To do so, on the SAP Easy Access screen choose Bank Analyzer ® Analytics ® Strategy Analyzer ® Run Administration ® Create and Schedule ® Create Valuation Run.

Make sure that the aggregation run type you require is available. You create aggregation run types in Customizing for Strategy Analyzer under Bank Analyzer ® Analytics ® Strategy Analyzer ® Processes ® Edit Aggregation Run Types.

 

Procedure

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access screen choose Bank Analyzer ® Analytics ® Strategy Analyzer ® Run Administration ® Create and Schedule ® Create Aggregation Run.

The system displays a selection screen.

       2.      Select a valuation run.

If you use the input help function to choose the valuation run, the system automatically enters the evaluation date (business key date) and the version of your valuation run in the appropriate fields.

Otherwise, you have to enter the evaluation date (business key date) required and valuation run version yourself.

       3.      Choose an aggregation run type.

Only those aggregation run types that belong to the valuation run type of the valuation run you selected are available.

Note that you use an aggregation run type to define which gap analyses the system carries out. You set the required evaluation indicators in Customizing for Strategy Analyzer by choosing Bank Analyzer ® Analytics ® Strategy Analyzer ® Processes ® Edit Aggregation Run Types.

 

You can save your settings as a variant, and use them again later. To save the settings, choose  with the quick info Save as Variant.

To reuse the variant you saved, choose  Get Variant.

 

       4.      Choose  with the quick info Execute.

 

Result

The system creates a version for the required aggregation run. The system forms the name of the aggregation run from a combination of the required valuation run type and the aggregation run type. To distinguish between aggregation runs that belong to the same valuation run and aggregation run type, the system also assigns a version number (1,2, and so on).

 

To start an evaluation, use the Schedule Manager to schedule the runs once you have created an aggregation run.
