Deploying a Custom Layout Template 

Use

After creating a new customized page layout template, you deploy it in the portal to make it available as a layout to any pages that you create.

Procedure

To make a new layout template available to the Page Wizard:

...

       1.      Deploy the layout PAR file to the portal application repository by doing one of the following:

¡        Use the Archive Uploader component

¡        Place the file in the …WEB-INF\deployment\pcd directory

       2.      Restart the server.

       3.      In the portal, run the Layout Wizard and in the General Properties screen, define the new layout template as a template.
