Procedure documentation Creating a Curriculum Type Element  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In this step, you assign curriculum types all the course types that must be completed by a participant taking the curriculum.

Prerequisites

The system contains course types that you can assign as curriculum type elements.

Procedure

On the SAP Easy Access screen, in the SAP Menu choose Human Resources ® SAP Learning Solution ® Settings ® Current Settings ® Curriculum Type. The Curriculum Type: Initial Screen appears.

       1.      Enter the curriculum type for which you want to create or change elements.

Note

You can also create a new curriculum type here, with or without the help of a reference object.

       2.      Choose Change.

The dialog box Processing Type appears.

       3.      Choose Edit Elements.

The dialog box Change Curriculum Type Elements appears.

       4.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Insert row or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Remove element to add or remove course types as curriculum type elements with or without sequence rules.

       5.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text  One position back or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text  One position forward to change the position of the curriculum type elements with sequence rules.

       6.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Specify Alternatives to specify alternative elements for an existing curriculum type element.

       7.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Save.

Result

You have created curriculum type elements for a curriculum type.

Note

You can use an existing curriculum type as a reference from which to copy when you create a new curriculum type. When you have created it, you can adopt the curriculum type elements as copy templates too.
