Purpose

Training Management is an integral part of the SAP Learning Solution. It provides you with complete support for planning, holding, and administering courses. It supports you from demand determination and course scheduling through the administration of courses, participation and resources, down to billing and settling fees. These functions are enhanced by a variety of reporting options and an effective appraisal system.

The course offering can include not only traditional classroom training but also many forms of Web-based training. In addition, various delivery methods can be combined to make up curricula.

Training Management has a high degree of integration with other SAP components, like mySAP HR. For example, integration between Personnel Development and Training Management lets you convert training proposals directly into course bookings for employees with qualification deficits or training needs.
