Creating a Curriculum Type
In this step, you create objects of the curriculum type for which you can store all time-independent attributes of curricula.
On the SAP Easy Access screen, in the SAP Menu choose Human Resources ® SAP Learning Solution ® Settings ® Current Settings ® Curriculum Type. The Curriculum Type: Initial Screen appears.

1. Enter the validity start and end dates for the object.

For clarity's sake, you should specify 01/01/ of a calendar year.
You can use an existing curriculum type as a reference to copy from.

Choose
Create.
The Create Curriculum Type: Data Screen appears.
3. Enter an abbreviation and a long text for the curriculum type.
4. Enter data as required for the new curriculum type. Do so by maintaining the relevant infotypes via the tab strips.

Choose
Save. The dialog box Processing Type appears.
6. Select the editing type for the curriculum type elements.
¡ Copy
Choose Copy if you want to copy the curriculum type elements contained in the reference curriculum type as well.
¡ Create New
Choose Create New if you want to create new curriculum type elements.
You have created a curriculum type.

Once you have created your first object, or if an object already exists in the system, you can use this as a template for any further objects you want to create. To do so, you enter the ID of the object you want to use as a template in the field Curriculum type in the Copy from box. The data of the existing object is proposed on the data screen. You can overwrite data as required for your new object. You can find this function in the master data catalog by choosing Object ® Create by copying.

The settings made in Customizing under Training Management ® Basic Settings ® Dialog Control ® Current Settings ® Maintain Actions affect the data maintenance activities you can carry out for course types.In this step, you specify what infotypes may be maintained for what object types.
