Defining Material and Service Type Differences

Use

Within material and service type price difference groups you can maintain differences in relation to the defined reference material and service type respectively. When you copy a price using the Two-Dimensional Price Maintenance Tool, the difference is included in the new price proposal.

Prerequisites

Material and service type difference groups must already exist. You create material and service type difference groups in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) by choosing:

SSR ® Fuels Processing ® Pricing ® Define differences group ® Define differences group: material differences

SSR ® Fuels Processing ® Pricing ® Define differences group ® Define differences group: service type differences

You assign material and service type difference groups to locations in the business location master record at business type level.

Procedure

Choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Service Station Retailing ® Pricing ® Master data ® Material and service type differences.

The Material price differences: Change screen appears.

Material Price Difference Group

To maintain a material price difference group, enter or select a material difference price group and a reference material, and choose Enter.

The materials belonging to the group are listed. If any price differences have been defined, these are displayed in the Rate column.

To define a price difference in relation to the price of the reference material value, enter a positive or negative value in the Rate column.

To add a further material to the group, enter a material ID in the Dep. price material column.

Save your entries.

A message confirms that your entries have been saved.

Service Type Price Difference Group

To maintain a service type difference group, choose Service type.

The Service type price differences: Change screen appears.

Enter or select a service type group and reference service type and choose Enter.

The service types belonging to the group are displayed, along with any defined price differences.

To change a price difference in relation to the price of the reference service type, enter a positive or negative value in the Rate column.

To add a further service type to the group, enter a service type ID in the DS column.

Save your entries.

A message confirms that your entries have been saved.
