Use

By defining managers for regions, areas and sub-areas, you can display user data for the managers responsible for each business location in the business location master record and in reports.

Prerequisites

To assign managers to the geographical grid, you select from users already maintained in the SAP Oil & Gas System.

Before assigning managers to the grid, you must define regions, areas, sub-areas and location area assignment keys in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream). For more information, see Geographical Grouping of Business Locations.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Service Station Retailing ® Master data ® Network manager assignments ® Maintain.

    2. The Entry screen LAA Manager assignment appears.

  2. Enter a country ID and choose Enter.

    3. The Maintain LAA Manager assignment - entry screen appears.

  3. Enter the User ID of managers for each region, area and sub-area and choose Enter.

    4. Data appears in the Last name and First name fields for each entry.

  4. To check an entry, position the cursor on a row of the relevant manager list and choose Details to display user data for a manager.
  1. Save your entries.

The Entry screen LAA Manager assignment appears.

Result

The manager assignments for the location area assignment defined in each business location master record are displayed in the Location area assignment data section of the business location master record.

To display all manager assignments, choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Service Station Retailing ® Master data ® Network manager assignments ® Display.
