Making Settings in Customizing 

Use

The following lists all the Customizing settings. For more information about the individual settings, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service under Maintenance and Service Processing ® Mobile Asset Management.

Procedure

       1.      Determine the order processing under Determine Order Processing.

This step is required if you want to use the order processing. Then you can enter the order profile in the scenario.

       2.      Determine the notification processing under Determine Notification Processing.

This step is required if you want to use the notification processing. You can then enter the notification profile in the scenario.

       3.      Determine how orders and stocks should be assigned to the technician under Assign Orders and Stocks to a Technician.

You can then enter the assignment profile in the scenario.

       4.      Define the scenario under Define Scenario.

This step is mandatory. The scenario is then defined and can be assigned to the user.

       5.      Assign the scenario to the user under Configure User-Dependent Data.

All the Customizing settings for a user are then complete.

       6.      Make the general settings as described in Setting Up RFC Connections and Setting Data Volume to be Copied.

The system is then optimized for the user-specific requirements.
