Help Service 

Definition

This application provides employees with help, additional information, or support regarding a particular service. A link to this application is displayed on the service interface. When an employee chooses this link, the object or service assigned to this link is launched.

Use

You can define a help service as follows:

·        You can enter an HTML page that is called when an employee chooses the link.

·        You can save the EIC Request application. This application is defined as a help service in the standard system. When an employee choose this link, he or she can contact an Employee Interaction Center (EIC). The employee might want to contact the EIC if he or she requires information about the application or needs support.

When the employee chooses the link, a form is displayed that he or she can fill out and send to the EIC.

The EIC Request application is the only help service that is included in the standard system.

In Customizing, you can create customer-specific help services or define other applications as help services.
