Issue
An issue describes a shortcoming related to a control, a management control, or a process.
When an assessor discovers an issue while assessing or testing a control, he or she can report and detail this issue in the system. Furthermore, the assessor must assign a processor who must resolve the issue. Remediation of a reported issue can occur with or without a remediation plan. In both cases, different statuses are used and different tasks are sent, which is managed technically by the SAP Business Workflow. For more information, see Issue Remediation.
There are different types of issues, depending on the task they relate to:

An issue only exists in relation to a specific assessment or test. If a user does not save an assessment, this causes all of the issues reported in that assessment to be deleted, even if the issues themselves have been saved.
