Procedure documentation Set Status of Personnel Number to Incorrect  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

If processes or process steps are repeated, personnel numbers are only processed if they have one of the following statuses: provisional, incorrect, or initial. If you repeat a process or process step and want to repeat processing for personnel numbers that have been successfully processed already, you must set the status of these personnel numbers to incorrect.

Note

You can only change the status of personnel numbers if the program category to which the process step is assigned allows you to make such changes. To display the program category of a process step, select the process and choose Goto ® Display Process Model. To display the required process step’s characteristics, double-click on it.

To check the program category, choose the following menu path on the initial Maintenance of Process Models screen: Edit ® Program Categories.

Prerequisites

You have executed a process.

Procedure

...

       1.      Select the appropriate level in the process.

       2.      Choose Edit ® Personnel Number ® Set to ‘Incorrect’.

Example

You have changed the value of a wage type in a table for the Payroll process step. The personnel numbers affected by this change are not stored in matchcode W (Payroll Correction Run). Nevertheless, you want the payroll to run for them correctly when the process step is repeated. You therefore set the status of the personnel numbers to incorrect and restart the process or process step.
