Procedure

The following procedure uses the example of an employee who was hired on January 21, 1999.

  1. Choose Human Resources ® Personnel management ® Administration ® HR Master Data ® Maintain.
  2. Enter the employee’s personnel number.
  3. Enter 0543 in the Infotype field and choose Medical Insurance in the subtype.
  4. Choose Create.
  5. Enter 15/06/1999 as the begin date.
  6. Choose Going abroad with family for the SI entitlement reason.
  7. Choose Enter, and the indicators for SI status Exempted and SI reporting Change appear.
  8. Enter the employee’s medical insurance card number.

Result

This employee is exempted from a medical insurance premium payment from July 1999. However, the premium payment still needs to be paid until June.
