To facilitate processing SKU data in purchasing documents, you have the option in the AFS system of entering not only master data in the AFS basic data but other types of information as well. In the AFS menu (Logistics ® AFS Central Functions) you have the following options for this:

• Using the definition of purchase grids, specify which of the grid values you defined in the master grid for an AFS material are permitted in Purchasing.
• In Customizing, define conditions and key combinations in order to control for which procurement transactions a certain purchase grid should be valid. Conditions and the key combinations that more closely specify the purchase grid are part of the grid determination.
• Specify the rounding factor and the rounding techniques to round SKUs in purchasing documents to the multiple of a rounding factor.
• Define a distribution profile to distribute quantities of grid values in purchasing documents accordingly (Presizing).
