Assignment of Stores to the Sold-To Party of an MSO

Use

To facilitate working with multi-store orders, the AFS system offers different ways to define the relationship of stores and a sold-to party.

An assignment of the stores to a sold-to party within an MSO-relevant hierarchy allows you to automatically copy stores into the MSO document.

You can assign stores with the partner function WE to a sold-to party in the customer master. This corresponds to the maintenance of the partner functions you know from the standard system.

You can specify in the customer master of the stores, which other customer is allowed for them as the sold-to party of a multi-store order.

Features

You can combine different ways of assigning stores to a sold-to party in your system. As soon as you enter stores in a multi-store document, the system checks if a relationship between the stores and the sold-to party of the document exists. The extent of this check depends on the type of input that you decide on:

If you copy stores automatically from a hierarchy into the MSO document, there is no check of the partner functions. If you add stores manually, the relationship between sold-to party and stores is checked based on the hierarchy and the partner roles. The latter is also true when you transfer the data for your MSO document via EDI.
If you enter the stores manually, only the partner functions of sold-to party and stores are checked.

The AFS system provides an additional hierarchy type (J) to assign stores to your MSO sold-to party.
