Partner Function Validation Sold-To Party
Use
With this function you can make sure that a sold-to party of a multi-store order is actually authorized to order goods from you for a specific store.
Features
There is a partner function available in the AFS system called the validation sold-to party (JS). With this partner function you can store a maximum of one customer in the customer master of a store. This customer then has authorization as the sold-to party of a multi-store order to order goods for this store.

We recommend that you use this partner function if the validation sold-to party is responsible for many stores. You can assign any number of stores to an validation sold-to party.
You can also map an equal relationship between the sold-to party and stores in the system by transferring the store in the role of the ship-to party to the customer master of the sold-to party. However, only a certain number of ship-to parties are possible for each sold-to party.
As soon as you have entered a store in the MSO document, the system checks in the application whether the partner entered as validation sold-to party in the customer master of this store is identical to the sold-to party of the MSO. If not, an error message is displayed.
This check takes place independently of whether you have manually entered the store or have transferred data to the document via EDI.
