There are additional options for controlling the scope of check for AFS materials in addition to the basic control parameters for the availability check. You can influence the ATP scope of check with the following AFS-specific functions:

The replenishment lead time is the time needed to order or produce the required material. If the material availability date for an AFS material (calculated starting with the current date) is not within the replenishment lead time, the item can be confirmed even if it is not available. In this case the system assumes that any desired quantity can be procured by the material availability date. The system therefore considers the goods as available. The goods can then be promised for the customer.
