AFS Functions in the Sales Order
Features
You can call several AFS functions in the sales order:
Quantity Distribution
You can enter a total quantity for a material during order processing. Using a quantity distribution profile, the total quantity is then automatically distributed to the grid values of the material.
You can enter the quantity distribution profile in the AFS item view. The profile is a template you can use to determine that the system automatically proposes default grid values and sales units in the sales document for an AFS material.
Quantity distribution profiles are defined in Customizing according to a master grid. When you maintain grid control data for sales, you can enter a numerical default value for each grid value (mode Default value order quantity per grd val). If you enter a quantity distribution profile when you enter or change a sales document for an item with an AFS material, the grid values and the sales quantity unit from the grid control data are copied over to the document. You can subsequently change the default values manually.

The material grid in the sales document and the master grid for each quantity distribution profile can be identical, but they do not have to be. The quantity distribution can also be carried out based on different grids, however the grids must be made up of the same dimensions.
If grid values or quantities are changed at schedule line level, the quantity distribution profile is initialized.
Special stock
During the consignment processing, the order quantity for AFS materials is entered using the Selection special stock function. You can call the special stock via Edit ®
