Creating Audit Packages in Retention Warehouse
You use this function to create audit packages in Retention Warehouse.
You have installed and configured the Business Package for Retention Warehouse Administration 1.50. For more information, see the business package documentation.
You need the ILM Audit Package Administrator
(SAP_ILM_WP_ADMIN
) role in the back-end system to create and edit audit packages.
You have defined an audit area and used this audit area to create an audit package template defining the tables and fields from the archived data, which you want to extract to SAP NetWeaver BW with the Retention Warehouse and evaluate.
You can process audit packages that have already been created only if you belong to the authorization group for which the audit package was created. You enter the authorization group in the authorization profile for the ILM Audit Package Administrator
role.
When you create an audit package in the Retention Warehouse, first choose an audit package template to be used as the basis for the audit package. Based on the audit area, the audit package template specifies which tables and fields from the archived data are available in the audit package. The Retention Warehouse analyzes the audit package template and saves the meta information for the individually archived tables in the management tables of the audit package.
Call the POWL for ILM Audit Package Administrators on SAP NetWeaver Portal or SAP NetWeaver Business Client and execute the application for creating audit packages.
