Closing of Shipments (Report)
You can close shipments using the Close Shipments
report (/SCA/SHIPMENT_CLOSE
). This allows you to close shipments with the statuses Published
and Partial Goods Receipt
that
are no longer needed.
Caution
With the report, you only close shipments locally in SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC). SAP SNC does not send a message to the back-end system of the customer or of the supplier.
You have system administrator authorization for the SAP SNC system.
You have activated the business function Supply Network Collaboration 1 (SCM_SNC_GEN_1
).
On the report entry screen, you specify which shipments you want the report to close. As selection criteria, you can enter business partners, shipment numbers, numbers of advanced shipping notifications (ASNs), the shipment status, and delivery dates. To determine the delivery date of the shipments to be closed, you have the following options:
If you only enter a delivery date, the report closes shipments whose delivery date is on or before the specified delivery date. If the delivery date is left empty, the system uses today’s date.
If, in addition to the delivery date, you enter an offset time in days, the report calculates an earlier delivery date by subtracting the offset time from the specified delivery date. The report closes shipments whose delivery date is on or before the calculated delivery date.
You can also run the report in a simulation mode. In the simulation mode, the report lists the shipments that correspond to the selection criteria, but does not close them.
For each shipment, the report sets the Closed
status for the shipment header.
Recommendation
The report does not close the shipment items (ASNs). Therefore, we recommend that you also run the Close ASNs
(/SCA/DLV_COSE
) report (see Closing
ASNs in System Administration).

screen, choose .
