An ATC master system is the one on which you run ATC central quality checks. It is typically the consolidation system in an ABAP development landscape, or the system on which you do testing and quality checking.

From the master system, you replicate the ATC findings from central quality checking to satellite development systems. You also can manage exemptions from findings centrally on this system.
