Action Parameters

Actions can only be carried out correctly if they have certain parameters.

There are event parameters and Customizing parameters.

Event parameters need to be fed with data when actions are triggered automatically from the external production control system. The person who is responsible for the technical connection of the production control system to SAP APO is also responsible for supplying these parameters with data.
Customizing parameters are either filled when you manually trigger actions, or you define them in Customizing of SAP APO (for an action at an action point). The person responsible for the Action Handler Customizing or the user of the Action Handler is responsible for filling the parameters with data.
