Editing the Properties of an Archive

Use this procedure when you want to edit the settings of a JAR, RAR or WAR archive during the assembling phase.

You should have added the archives to the Assembler tab either by Making an Application Component Archive or by Adding and Removing a Component Archive to an Application .

1. Select a component from the tree.
2. Edit its properties as you did when Generating J2EE Components .
   Caution

   Although all property fields are visible, only the fields defined by the J2EE specification can be edited.

   Note

   The Files tab is not available for any component, nor are its options.
