Generating J2EE Components

You need to generate the J2EE components before you can assemble and deploy them on a J2EE engine.

Use the J2EE Components tab of the Deploy Tool:

1. To create and edit the deployment descriptors of the following types of components:
   • For an Enterprise Bean Archive (EJB JAR ) see EJB JAR Preparation .
   • For a Web Archive ( WAR ) see Web Archive Preparation .
   • For a Resource Adapter ( RAR ) see Resource Adapter Preparation .
   • For an Application Client Archive (Client JAR ) see Application Client Archive Preparation .
2. To create the archive files of the application components. For more information, see Making an Application Component Archive .
