Shipment Alerts
Shipment alerts are alerts in critical situations for shipments. To generate a shipment alert, the following options are available, depending on the alert type:
SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC) generates the alert in the background, for example, when the shipment is saved or canceled.
System administration regularly executes the report Generate Alerts for Overdue and Unassigned ASNs
(/SCA/ASN_PASTDUE_ALERTWRITE
) in the SAP SNC system. To call the report for online processing, on the SAP Easy Access
screen, choose .
The following table contains the alert types for shipments. The ID
column of the table contains the alert type ID. The Source
column indicates how an alert is generated.

| 7432 | Background (when an advanced shipping notification is saved) | An advanced shipping notification (ASN) has been canceled. However, the ASN is assigned to a shipment and the shipment status is |

| 7434 | Automatically | A new attachment has been added to the shipment, using the attachment handling functionality of SAP SNC (without Collaboration Folders). |
| 7435 | Report For more information, see Generation of Alerts for Overdue and Unassigned ASNs. | The delivery date of an ASN is less than today plus offset days, and it has not been assigned to a shipment yet. |
| 7436 | Background (when a shipment is saved) | The delivery date of an ASN has been overwritten by the delivery date of the shipment to which the ASN is assigned. |
To use these functions, you must activate the business function Supply Network Collaboration 1 (SCM_SNC_GEN_1
).
