Creating Rules This section contains information about creating rules in integrated rule maintenance.
You have created substitution procedures, the rule control and, if necessary, calculation profiles .
If you want to use substitutions from master data (with condition technique) with a filter, you have defined a filter for substitution types .
From the
SAP Easy Access
screen, select

In the
Overview
frame, choose

.
Specify the number of substitutions. In addition, specify to which entity the number of substitutions refers.
If you want the substitutions from the rule to be transferred to a consolidation location, define a consolidation location. If you do not want a consolidation to take place, set the
Direct Delivery Without Consolidation
indicator.
If you have defined a consolidation location, you specify whether you want the system to perform a delivery date correlation in the consolidation location.
If you want the rule to take part in the
reassignment of order confirmations
, you set the
Activate Reassignment of Order Confirmations
indicator.
Choose one of the following tab pages depending on the substitution and enter the procedures, rule control, and, if necessary, the calculation profile:
Product + Loc. Subst
.
If you want to specify a location determination procedure and a product substitution procedure for the rule, choose the
Product + Loc. Subst.
tab page.
INC MD Product + Loc. Subst
.
If you want to specify a location determination procedure and a product substitution procedure for the rule from the interchangeability master data, choose the
INC MD Product + Loc. Subst.
tab page.
Loc. Prod. Sub.
If you want to specify a location product substitution procedure for the rule, choose the
Loc. Prod. Sub.
tab page.
Note
Note that you cannot use product substitution procedures or location determination procedures in a rule together with a location product substitution procedure. Such a rule would produce non-deterministic results.
InC MD Loc.Prod.Subst.
If you want to specify a location product substitution procedure for the rule from the interchangeability master data, choose the
InC MD Loc.Prod.Subst.
tab page.
Chars Subst.
If you want to specify a characteristic substitution for the rule, choose the
Chars Subst.
tab page.
