Integration Stock Material Procurement

Use

Integration of Stock Material Procurement into Funds Management enables you to control:

The time (purchase order or goods issue) at which budget is assigned
Whether budget is available for the warehouse itself, by managing a warehouse funds center

Prerequisites

You define the time when you use budget in the Funds Management (FM) Customizing under Actual and Commitment Update/Integration ® General settings ® Enter Miscellaneous Settings.

In addition, you must define which movement types from inventory management are budget-relevant for you in FM Customizing in step Select movement types. The goods issue only has budget in Funds Management if you enter a movement type in the posting which is flagged in the implementation guide as both budget-relevant and a goods issue. If the movement type is flagged as not relevant to the budget, then updating is only Statistical

There are other prerequisites if you want to manage the budget using a warehouse funds center:

Enter a warehouse funds center in the master data
Assign the warehouse funds center to a plant and a valuation class in the Funds Management Government Customizing.

If you have chosen Warehouse Concepts 3 or 4, inward movements (purchase requisitions and purchase orders) are automatically assigned to this warehouse funds center.
