Family/Related Person Infotype 0021

Definition

You record the data on the employee’s family members or relatives in this infotype. In addition to personal data, you can also record specifications for sickness certificates and for social insurance.

On the basis of the employee’s data, the provides default values for the following fields:

Last name
Sex
Name prefix (if applicable)

When you create an infotype record for an employee’s child, you can also store Other Specifications for Child. In addition, the system automatically provides the Child no. field for processing. If you choose Family allowance, you enter the overview screen in which the records for Family Allowance infotype 0043 are displayed. These records were created at an earlier time.

Use

The system uses the data for various person-related evaluations.

When issuing the sickness certificate for the spouse or the children, the system evaluates the entries in the following fields:

Entitlement (This field must contain the value 01 if you want to issue a sickness certificate for an insured family member using Sickness Certs. A infotype 0056. )

Authorization no.

SI number

In payroll, the system uses the data on the children to determine the following values:

Accommodation allowance

Non-monetary child bonus

Monetary child bonus

Possible amount of family allowance (for companies that pay out the family allowance directly to their employees)

The entry of data on the employee’s children is a prerequisite for processing Family Allowance A infotype (0043).

Integration

In Family Allowance A infotype (0043), you can refer to the child’s basic data from Family/Related Person infotype 0021 using the appropriate child number.

If you delete a child from Family/Related Person infotype 0021 for which data is also saved in Family Allowance A infotype 0043 is saved, a dynamic action deletes the data for this child in Family Allowance A infotype (0043) as well.
