Use

With the specifications you make on this tab page, you define:

Prerequisites

If a form is to be created the workflow container must contain a container element that refers to a suitable structure.

Activities

Make the following settings:

Step name

Give the step a name. This name is used to label the step within your workflow.

Form type and action

Form is the only form type currently supported.

For the action you specify how the form is to be used in the execution of the step. You cannot make any changes in the form fields for the display and approval variants. For both approval variants the form must contain pushbuttons for the decision. When you have the workflow system create a form, the action chosen is taken into account.

Form

Choose the form that is to be used in this step and supports the action required here. If the form does not yet exist, you can have the workflow system create a form for you. To do this, select This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. A wizard is called to create the form, in which you specify all the data required and choose the container element to which the form is to refer.

The form is saved in the function group defined for this workflow. If no function group has yet been created for this workflow, the workflow system creates a function group automatically and enters its name in the basic data of the workflow .

You can adapt the layout of the form generated to suit your requirements. For more information on processing the layout, see Structure link Screen Painter.

Agent determination

You process the responsible agents and the excluded agents for the form step. These specifications only apply to this step and complement the specifications on organizational responsibility. For more information, see Defining Responsibilities.
