Entering content frameProcedure documentation Assigning FTE Budgets (Top-Down) Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

  1. Call up the dialog box for entering the budget amount by double-clicking the budget structure element to which you want to assign a budget.
  2. Note 

    Please make sure that the budget of the budget structure element in question is a full-time-equivalent budget.

  3. In the Pay scale classification box, enter the pay scale classification for the budget.
  4. Note

    The procedure Defining Employee Groups/Subgroups shows you how to display default values at this point.

  5. If the pay scale group that you want to enter is a special pay scale group, select Special pay scale group.
  6. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Check.
  7. The system displays the names of the pay scale fields, and the corresponding pay scale details.

  8. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .
  9. The system displays the available budget (i.e. how many FTEs can still be assigned to this budget from the budget of the higher-level budget structure element).

  10. If you want to use the available budget amount shown, choose Transfer. To return to the input screen, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  11. If you chose Transfer, the system now displays the full-time equivalents that were proposed.

    Note

    Make sure that no more budget is available for other budget structure elements afterwards.

  12. Either accept the amount proposed, or enter a different number of full-time equivalents manually.
  13. To store administrative information, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  14. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Check.
  15. To save the budget, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
