Use

A Web form is completed by an employee or customer on the Internet and sent to the SAP System.

The corresponding workflow or task for the form is then started in the SAP System. The import element of the workflow or the task container are filled with the form entry data.

When the Web form is processed, a Web-enabled SAP transaction ("Web transaction") is called from a Web page. The transaction is actually called using the Internet Transaction Server (ITS).

The ITS communicates with the SAP System directly using the SAPGUI interface to support Web transactions.
