Classification of agents according to their properties

Examples of agent types are:

• Physical hazard (such as noise, vibration)
• Chemical hazard (such as hazardous substances)
• Work environment (such as working outside)
• Psychological factors (such as work process, piecework)
• Material

You specify agent types in the IMG activity Specify Agent Types in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety. They are included in the authorization check for editing agents.

If the relevant indicator was set for an agent type in Customizing, you can assign agents of this agent type to materials of the SAP component Materials Management.
