Testing Layouts

Prerequisites

You have created a report template with status In work (IW) or Released (RE).

You have defined a generation variant and assigned it to the report template.

You are using EH&S Native Language Support and have set the parameter MULTI_CODEPAGE_SUPPORT in the IMG activity Specify Environment Parameters in Customizing for Product Safety.

Procedure

In the specification management hit list, select all specifications for which you want to generate a report for a generation variant, language, and key date (see Specification Search).

In the hit list, choose Specification ® Reports ® Report from template.

The Create Report Using Template dialog box appears.

Enter the generation variant, language, and key date.

If you have defined symbols of type Parameter in your report template, the Maintain Parameter Values dialog box appears. Edit the dialog box as follows:

Enter the values for the parameter symbols (see Symbol Type Parameter).

If a symbol of the type Parameter is defined within a repeating group of the report template, using the functions This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and Add line you can insert or append a number of values for parameters.

You chose	The report is displayed in Microsoft Word. To return to the SAP System, choose File ® Back to R/3.
