Use

Caution

Do not modify HR standard forms. They can be overwritten by release upgrades or by an HR Support Package.

If you want to set up an HR form, you must first create it. Alternatively, you can copy an HR standard form to the customer namespace and then redesign it as required. You must still adjust the copied HR standard form.

Prerequisites

You have accessed the initial Forms Workplace screen, or you call the transaction as follows:

Procedure

  1. Select the HR standard form you want to copy to the customer namespace.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Copy.
  3. The Name of InfoNet dialog box is displayed.

  4. Enter the customer name, and select the country grouping.
  5. Example

    You want to copy the SAP_PAYSLIP_DE form, which is included in the standard system, to the customer namespace to create customer-specific form ZCUST_FORM.

  6. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Continue.
  7. The Create Object Directory Entry dialog box is displayed.

  8. Enter the required data.
  9. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Save.
  10. To adjust the form, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Change.
  11. To continue making adjustments in SAP Smart Forms, choose Layout.
  12. This takes you to the layout area.

  13. In the Form Interface area, adjust the associated type of the HRDATA parameter to the new form name.
  14. Example

    You must change the associated type of parameter name HRDATA from /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_DE to /1PYXXFO/ZCUST_FORM.

  15. In the Global Definitions area, adjust the associated type of each variable to the new form name if reference is made to the automatically generated ABAP Dictionary type.
  16. Example

    Adjust all of the variables to the new name.

    For example, you must change the associated type of the WA_WAGETYPE variable from LINE OF /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_DE-DIM_WAGETYPE to /1PYXXFO/ZCUST_FORM -DIM_WAGETYPE.

Note

After you have finished designing the form, you must activate the HR form in the Forms Workplace before starting the print program.

Result

You have copied an HR standard form to the customer namespace, and can now adjust it as required.
